Web-based Organic Agriculture Marketplace
The OA Marketplace is an online platform where organic farmers can sell their products directly to consumers. It verifies the authenticity of products, tracks sales and farm data in real-time, and supports sustainable farming by giving certified organic producers a place to showcase their goods. This way, consumers can trust that the products on the marketplace are truly organic.
The OA Marketplace will be officially launched at the Summit, offering participants an overview of its features and functionalities. Similarly, a booth will be available in the area to assist prospective registrants and answer any questions they may have.
Photo Exhibit (History of Global PGS and Philippine PGS)
The photo exhibit will showcase the evolution and significance of PGS both globally and in the Philippines. It aims to visually narrate PGS’s journey as a community-driven certification model that empowers small-scale farmers and promotes sustainable agriculture.
Key features of the exhibit include historical milestones of PGS, inspiring empowerment stories, and educational content designed to foster appreciation for PGS and its contributions to the organic movement.
Product Display/ Exhibit
The product display will showcase the diverse range of goods produced by Philippine PGS farmers, providing them with an opportunity to present their products at the summit. This initiative aims to facilitate potential business-to-business connections and future partnerships.
Sharing of Experiences on the Implementation of PGS in the Different Countries
A key highlight of the PGS Summit will be the session on sharing experiences from various countries on the implementation of PGS. This session will bring together international and Philippine delegates to discuss the successes, challenges, and lessons learned in adopting PGS as a community-based certification model.
